Debating team
Congratulations to our debating team on their recent success. They won the Kildare County Debating Final in Kildare Education Centre. This group have been working really hard researching and preparing since September. We are very proud of them!
Science Week
November 8th-15th, 2020 was Science Week. The whole school got involved in exploration and discovery, learning about many things, including light, corrosion, and (gentle) explosive reactions!
Cumann na mBunscol
Cumann na mBunscol promotes Gaelic Games in an educational context, and an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment. We play in a combined team with Scoil Naomh Lorcáin Levitstown and Scoil Naomh Treasa Ballyroe, and can't wait to get back out on the pitch this year!
Amber Flag
The Pieta Amber Flag initiative encourages us to promote positive mental health within the school community. This is a new venture for us!
Debating
The Concern Primary debate is a fun educational programme aimed at senior primary students. We love participating, and the whole senior room get involved with researching topics.
Discovery Primary Science and Maths Programme
Every year our school takes part in the DPSM programme. It has really helped to increase interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) among students and teachers. The children really enjoy it and our school has received many DPSM awards for participating.
Maths Week
Maths Week is an excellent opportunity to get to grips with lots of puzzles and problem solving
