We are learning to work on our speed and reactions using a variety of different games. We are getting faster and working on our stride to sprint over different distances.

Gaelic Football
We have an under 11's and senior team within the school which is made up of children from Kilkea N.S., Levitstown N.S. and Ballyroe N.S. They are a fantastic group with very positive attitudes and are always encouraging each other both on and off the pitch.
We love to see so many children interested in taking part in GAA within the community. Well done to all involved.
Our local GFC, Grangenolvin, visited our school to share fun drills with all the pupils. Mentors Brian and Eileen, along with senior team player Fionn and Colin organised a fantastic afternoon.
The pupils took part in team games, experienced a close up with the club trophies and even grilled the two players during a Q & A session. The children were delighted and had so much fun!
We feel very lucky! Grange Abú!

Athy Rugby Club hosted a fantastic day out for our 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils! They enjoyed every minute of the rugby tournament, even the mud!! Well done to all involved :)
