"Eggsperiment" on teeth
Both teeth and eggs contain calcium which can be attacked by acid. We were fascinated by the results!

We used cereal boxes to create our very own Halloween Monsters!
Room 3 love using the Chromebooks.
2nd and 3rd class worked hard to write a report about France and Ireland.
1st class are working on addition games.
Solutions to water pollution
Freddy the Fish went on a journey. We learned about the obstacles he faces along the way. Room 3 thought of solutions to prevent some of the pollution problems.

Room 3 worked well as a team to clean out and carve the pumpkins for Halloween :)

We were very busy during science week and had LOTS of fun!!
Perfect Pastel Pictures
The children in Room 3 enjoyed some Christmas music as they created beautiful snow globe art using chalk pastels.
Tin Foil Art

Igloo Fun!
The children used milk cartons, glue and cotton wool to plan and design their very own igloos.
Science Fun!
The children really enjoyed getting involved in their colour changing milk experiment.
We used milk, food colouring and fairy washing up liquid.
The Romans!
We have been very busy learning all about Italy and The Romans.
Masks ready for the Carnival of Venice. The children got very creative with their masks.
The children worked together using tape, tinfoil and paper to create their own aqueduct.
They showed great problem-solving skills and also shared some reflections after testing each of the aqueducts.

Alien Slime!!
A messy but very enjoyable experiment in the sunny weather! We used cornflour, water and food colouring to make our own alien slime! :)
The children loved creating their own obstacle course and giving directions.
Bird Feeders
Room 3 have been learning about animals in our local area. They did a fantastic job creating bird feeders!
They are also researching facts and information about the different groups of living things.
First Holy Communion
Congratulations to all of the children who received their First Holy Communion in Levitstown Church on May 21st. We are all so proud of you and hope you all enjoyed your special day :)
Budding gardeners!
The children really enjoyed decorating and designing some rocks for our new flower bed.
They have been very busy weeding, sewing seeds, watering plants. They love seeing the results.
